American Education Week Day 2 was 80s attire and a candy bar. Thank you parents for the donations of 80s candy. Teachers loved having Ring Pops, Pop Rocks, and Candy Necklaces.




"Education is a Work of Heart" and teachers have the biggest hearts!! THANK YOU to all of the teachers and staff at H.E.S. who continually go above and beyond the call of duty because it comes from your heart! We see you and we appreciate everything you do for your students and your community.

Picture Day is November 29th. This will be for all picture retakes as well as for any new students!!


November 6th-17th is National Homeless and Hunger Awareness week. H.E.S. will be collecting all canned and boxed foods especially proteins to donate to this wonderful cause. H.E.S. will still participate in their food drive for H.E.S. families as well and more info will be coming home on that soon! If you are able to donate any items, please send them to school starting on November 13th and ending on November 17th so that we have time to deliver our donation. If you need any additional information on the McKinney-Vento Act, please reach out to Karen Bratcher or Brandi Karnes at H.E.S. We appreciate your kindness and for helping those in need.

There will be NO SCHOOL Friday, November 10th, in honor of Veterans' Day. School will resume Monday, November 13th.

The 5th Grade Band & Chorus Concert will be Friday, December 8th @ 9:30 a.m. in the North Gym @ H.E.S. Please check-in at the front office upon arrival BEFORE coming down to the gym for performances!!


Free food? Where? When? Come out for the HES Family STEM Night and have fun while enjoying pizza and root beer floats. You will be so happy you came out and brought the kids. It is going to be a fantastic night.
