TRUANCY MINUTE: A Message from ROE #21 As a part of the ROE #21 Partners Against Chronic Truancy initiative, we are committed to working together to address and reduce truancy within our community. We understand that regular school attendance is one of the most important factors in a student's academic success, personal development, and future opportunities. Truancy can have serious long-term effects on a student's educational journey, and we believe that by collaborating with families, schools, and community organizations, we can create a supportive environment that encourages consistent attendance. To Parents: Your involvement is essential in helping your child succeed in school. By ensuring that your child attends school regularly, you are setting the foundation for their future success. If your child is struggling with attending school, whether due to academic challenges, emotional issues, or other factors, please reach out for support. We are here to help you navigate these challenges and connect you with resources that can make a difference. To Students: Every day of school is an opportunity for learning, growth, and development. Missing school can create gaps in your education and make it harder to catch up. If you're facing any difficultiesโ€”whether itโ€™s with schoolwork, friends, or anything elseโ€”donโ€™t hesitate to reach out to a teacher, counselor, or trusted adult. Together, we can find solutions to help you stay on track. Together, We Can Make a Difference! We believe that by working togetherโ€”parents, students, schools, and community partnersโ€”we can overcome the barriers that prevent students from attending school regularly. Your education is your future and attending school every day is one of the best steps you can take to ensure that future is bright. If you need any help or have questions, please donโ€™t hesitate to reach out to us. Weโ€™re here to support you.
