Attention HHS & HJHS Students! School pictures and ID's will be taken at registration this week for junior high and high school students ONLY. See you Tuesday or Thursday!
Districtwide In-Person Registration is this week! Tuesday, July 26 from 10 AM - 6 PM and Thursday, July 28 from 7 AM - 3 PM. In-person registration will take place at Herrin High School and is required for all NEW AND RETURNING students in grades K-12.

If your child failed a course or is behind in credits, they are eligible for HHS's summer school program. An informational meeting will be held on Monday, June 6 at 8 AM in the HHS commons. Due to the potential of rain, the Class of 2022 Graduation will be held at Memorial Gym. Graduation will be held at 5:00 PM. After senior breakfast, seniors should report to HHS for practice tomorrow at 9:00 AM. Thank you!
Attention HHS Athletes & Families! Sports Physicals will be tomorrow from 9am-1pm at the high school. We will be calling kids out of class who plan on participating in a sport(s) next school year. Every athlete must have an up to date physical on file to participate. We are asking for a $10 donation per physical but we will not turn anyone away. You must have your physical form filled out and signed. Please contact the athletic office with any questions.

HHS Families, tragedy affected our school yesterday afternoon. Chance Karnes, Mr. Karnes’ son and an HHS alum, passed away in an automobile accident. We knew him as our student; he was a friend, a teammate, a cowboy, and an adventurer. We grieve for the young man and his family. Mrs. Cornelius, Mrs. Shelton, and Mr. Tate will be available throughout the coming days to assist students. If you or your child have any questions or need a shoulder; reach out. We need one another, and, especially, Mr. and Mrs. Karnes, Presli, and their family need our love.
