We believe developing skills around Kindness will help us build a strong foundation for a great year of learning, connecting, and growing together. If your child is going to be absent for any reason, you must call the office to report the absence. If you do not call before 12:00 pm, you will receive a phone call from the office stating your child has been marked UNEXCUSED for the day.
Students can be absent from school up to five times during the school year without needing a doctor's note, as long as the absence is excused (e.g., illness, family emergency). Once a student exceeds five excused absences, any additional absences will require a doctor's note. Students with 3 UNEXCUSED absences will be turned over to truancy.
