🎄🍪 Cookies With Claus is Coming to HES! 🎅❄️
Get ready for two magical days of holiday fun on Monday, December 15th and Tuesday, December 16th! Each class will have a scheduled time to attend.
For just $5 per student, children will enjoy an unforgettable experience, all while supporting the HES Drama Club (please note: this is not an HES PTO-sponsored event).
✨ Students will get to:
🎶 Rock around the Christmas tree with Rudolph
🦌 Play reindeer games
🏔️ Slide down a huge snow mountain
❄️ Have an indoor snowball fight
📸 Take a festive group photo
🎅 Enjoy a snack and story with Santa himself!
If students would like to participate, payment must be made to their teacher BEFORE Wednesday, December 10th.

Today, we honor the lives lost and the heroes of December 7, 1941. On Pearl Harbor Day, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served and were affected by this historic event.
Let us never forget the bravery and dedication of our service members.

We are excited to welcome our HES families to our upcoming Parent Engagement Activities! Parents are not going to want to miss these spectacular events. Students have been working hard to plan for these activities, and they are so excited to share their learning with loved ones.
🟠 Thursday, December 18th
2nd Grade: 8:45–10:00 AM (2nd Grade Hallway)
4th Grade: 9:15–10:15 AM
📍 North Gymnasium
🟠 Friday, December 19th
3rd Grade: Open House from 9:00–10:30 AM
Families are encouraged to stay 15–20 minutes.
5th Grade: Sweater Party (Classroom) 9:00-10:00 AM

Herrin Elementary is excited to partner once again with the Salvation Army for our annual “Change Challenge”!
The class that raises the MOST money will win a DONUT PARTY!!! 🍩🎉 YUMMMMM!
Last year, H.E.S. students raised over $1,500, and every penny went toward helping local families in need. 🧡🖤🐯
